Sustainability is a 360-degree commitment for Biolab, and this is evident in how we have chosen the locations for our production facilities as the demand for plant-based products continues to grow.

When our first plant reached its maximum capacity, we actively sought a new location following a strategy that respected two parameters: proximity and the reuse of existing buildings.

We explored solutions within our territory to invest in the development of the local economy, minimizing the movement of goods, and we also decided to repurpose abandoned spaces whenever possible, avoiding further cementing.

That’s how we discovered a no longer active sawmill, which became our second facility, while the third has an even more interesting history: it is the former slaughterhouse in Gorizia, which we completely transformed and is now our flagship unit.

This choice reflects our commitment to envisioning a better world and signifies that a cruelty-free future is possible.
